Storytelling

Everything is a story if you want to tell it that way.

I recently finished an undergraduate degree in English Writing because writing has always been at the core of what I do and how I think. Through this degree, I’ve been learning to combine words with photography, audio and video to create truly immersive, multimedia pieces.

This is where it all comes together.

The Power of the Listening Room

Crow Creek Service Project Video

A short, promotional video about Iowa State Veterinary School’s yearly service project on the Crow Creek Reservation in South Dakota.

Flora Sessions

Flora Sessions was inspired by the beautiful botanical boutique where I worked in Asheville, NC. It was an evolving collaboration between over 50 artists who helped to create 20 music videos.

The project honored the canvas of a live performance: how walls, people, plants and flowers set a tone and sculpt a sound. The series explored that idea through the songs of musicians, the eyes of videographers and the skill of audio engineers. I’m so proud of the beautiful moments that resulted and so thankful to all the creative folks who lent their time to make Flora Sessions happen.
